Workshops

From setting intentions to finding joy in the everyday, I love to create bespoke creative writing workshops for groups big and small.

I have experience running workshops for both adults and children and have worked with Make It Better, the Writers’ Block and Artswell. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Creative Writing from Cambridge University and an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University.

I run regular workshops in Calliope’s Writers and am available to hire. Please contact me to find out more.

“Lucy has a way of structuring her workshops so that a simple creative task can take you deep into the knottiest parts of your own creative process. She manages to facilitate deep work in a way that feels easy and painless. I can’t recommend these workshops highly enough: I always come away with both a set of practical tools and a feeling of wellbeing.”

Ease into the New Year with Intention and Attention

Friday 12th January | 10.00 – 11.30 | Online

The urgent demands of today can be overwhelming, exhausting or for some really quite exhilarating and exciting…

As an alternative start to the year, I invite you to join me for an hour and a half of intention and attention setting to help you ease your way into the year.

It will be a gentle and encouraging space to explore how we can reflect on what has past, let go of that which no longer serves you and will give you the space to explore how you want to be in the present and moving forward into the new year.

Bring a notebook and a cuppa! A recording will also be made available if you cannot attend on the day.

“That was so enjoyable, felt like yoga for writers in a way. Strenghtening, stretching, warming up the imagination. ”
